To become a Member of the Lone Star Bernese Mountain Dog Club, please fill out a Membership Application. You can download a PDF version of our Membership Application. The Membership Application requires you to have TWO sponsors that are current and in good standing with the LSBMDC. You can download a PDF version of our Membership Sponsor Form.

No. Membership is open to anyone sincerely interested in the breed, including former BMD owners and people considering becoming BMD owners.

No. Many of our members do show their dogs in conformation, obedience, agility or draft work, but you may join even if your dog is just a family pet. The Club can be a great source of information on health issues and other matters pertaining to the breed - information you can use even if you do not show your dog.

For our members security and privacy, we do not post phone numbers or e-mail addresses on our website. If you request a membership packet, it will include a current membership roster so you can contact members for sponsorship.
If you need phone numbers for breed rescue contacts, call or e-mail Dawn Letry and request the breed rescue contact phone number for your area.

Several of our members are available to assist in identifying and placing rescue Berners. However, Rescue is a separate entity from the club. Please see our Rescue pages to learn more about LSBMD Rescue!
